We have reports of LLD failing with ld.lld: error: relocation R_AARCH64_JUMP26 out of range: $OFFSETS. There are a few seemingly related changes upstream that we've backported:

Probable fix is in build 6352462 on https://ci.android.com/builds/branches/aosp-ndk-release-r21/grid?
