This is a simple sample on how to use annotations with Android/Java. It has an annotation processor that shows how to process annotations at compile time. Also there is an example on how to process annotations at runtime.
-When compiling using the terminal you will see messages about annotation processing. -At runtime you execute the application and you will see messages on the logcat screen.
Here are some useful Gradle/adb commands for executing this example:
gradlew clean build
- Build the entire example and execute unit and integration tests plus lint check.gradlew installDebug
- Install the debug apk in the current connected device.
