Configuration

  • Keka version: 1.3.2
  • macOS version: 13

Describe the bug

Keka-1.3.2.dmg can't be decompressed by Keka itself

To Reproduce

Drag Keka-1.3.2.dmg to Keka

Expected behavior

Keka-1.3.2.dmg gets decompressed.

Additional context

Keka-1.3.2.dmg contains unusual hfs data (macOS handles it well though) that 7z can't process. I've posted a bug report to 7z. It would be helpful if you could share about what software/configuration is used to create Keka-1.3.2.dmg.

@branchseer thanks a lot for pointing to this issue. I have already replied in the report at 7-Zip's place, let's follow there but keep this one open.

This is partially fixed in 7zz v24.00, still fails for symlink extraction:

ERROR: Dangerous link path was ignored : Keka/Applications : /Applications

But the format is properly recognized.
