Hi everyone,
we are deploying Instances into L2 networks.
As by design Cloudstack is not able to assign IP addresses to these instances.
Is there any way to inject an IP configuration into the system when just using the Cloudstack GUI.
We tried with UserData on a configdrive. This is not really usable as we are deployment all kinds of OS, from Windows, to debian based or RHEL Linux. So there is no simple universal config. It always depends on the OS if we understand correct.
We would love to use something like network_data,json in openstack ?
I know this could be achieved with using terraform or any other deployment solution.
We are also aware that with Isolated networks and a virtual router the are solutions.
But we are explicitly want to have a Solution with L2 networks and just the Cloudstack GUI.
Any idea is welcome.
