MixTestNotify

OSX notifications for mix test. Best when used with the most excellent mix test.watch.

Requirements

You must have OSX Mavericks or beyond.

Usage

Add it to your dependencies

# mix.exs
def deps do
  [{:mix_test_notify, "~> 0.2.0", only: :dev}]
end

Mix Test.Watch

https://github.com/lpil/mix-test.watch This runs tests in the background. Use the two together for maximum goodness.

Optional Configuration

You can turn on sounds by setting the :sound config to true as below. Default sounds are OSX Blow and Basso. You can also set the titles for your notifications.

mix.exs

config :mix_test_notify, :sound, true
config :mix_test_notify, :win_sound, "Blow"
config :mix_test_notify, :fail_sound, "Basso"
config :mix_test_notify, :win_title, "Win"
config :mix_test_notify, :fail_title, "Fail"

Available sounds are Basso, Blow, Bottle, Frog, Funk, Glass, Hero, Morse, Ping, Pop, Purr, Sosumi, Submarine, Tink, or anything in ~/Library/Sounds
