Expected Behavior

As our group expands to a variety of super computers, the guide for Blue Waters could have general information about applying to super computers reflecting the drafts in our drive. It could answer questions like:

  • How do you figure out the amount of compute time you'll need?
  • What are the steps to identify the type of machine you want to work with?
  • Are there any existing resources we can/want to link to about adapting code for a super computer?

Actual Behavior

This doesn't yet exist.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Check out the Blue Waters guide

How can this issue be closed?

This issue can be closed with a PR that either creates a new guide about generally applying for compute time on a super computer, or adds information to the existing Blue Waters guide.
