You're right in that this mod has been partially abandoned. I don't play minecraft any more and have a full time job so the time I can spend is limited. That said, I'll merge this and release a new version.

Thank you for replying and build a new version, I am sorry that another enthusiastic modder has exit the realm of Minecraft, hope you may find pleasure elsewhere and appreciate for your contribution.

Hey, I went to go and push a new version, but forge 1.12.x no longer builds under recent versions of java (see this issue for more: MinecraftForge/ForgeGradle#652) with no plan from them to fix it.

I am exploring other options.
