Description
------------

RANS Channel flow solver for OpenFOAM, with mass flow rate based pressure gradient correction.

User can define mass flow rate through a bulk velocity "Ubar" in the constant/transportProperties file.

channelRANS can also work with a LES solver, but this had already been achieved in channelFoam.

Note: This code has NOT been rigorously tested for simulation statistics yet, but the trial runs have been good.

Target platform
---------------
The code is known to work with OpenFOAM 2.1.x. on Linux Platforms.
For OpenFOAM cross compilation on Windows, check the unofficial release by blueCAPE CFD.

Instructions
------------

1. Download the source code using git:

    git clone git://github.com/ArvindCFD/channelRANS.git

2. Copy the directory in your OpenFOAM/applications/solvers/incompressible directory.

3. Enter the directory where the source code has been extracted, and compile
   it by typing: wmake

4. Specify "Ubar" in transportProperties file (refer to the example file)

5. All other settings are similar to channel395 LES tutorial. Just choose RANS model.
