Prerequisites

  • Are you running the latest version?

Description

on install kodi closes, tried repo and addon *.zip

Steps to Reproduce

  1. try to install repo or addon via zip
  2. kodi shutsdown without error

Expected behavior: expected installed netflix addon

Actual behavior: kodi closes

Installation

  • [x ] I installed the plugin via zip from the Releases page
  • [x ] I´m using the Netflix Repo
  • I´m using a different source (Please tell which)

Operating System

  • Linux (x86/x64)
  • OSX (x86/x64)
  • [x ] Windows (x86/x64) 10
  • Linux (ARM)
  • Android

I have exactly the same problem.
With Kodi 18 RC2.

Try to install from zip, diseble auto update and enable sources.

I'm running into the same issue on a fire tv 4k as well. Disabling update and enabling sources does not help.

There's a divide by zero bug on addon install. It is fixed in this pull request.

If you want to get around this, you'll need to install a nightly build of kodi 18 at this time.

Kodi 18 RC3 fixed this.
