Atom is saying to upgrade to 141 but it isn't in chocolatey yet.

Yeah, I guess it is still awaiting moderation, which appears to be a thing chocolatey does now.

Yesterday I couldn't wait because I really needed the --dev mode fix to
continue working. I tried using the big green button on the atom.io home
page to get the raw Atom folder. I then replaced the Chocolatey folder
with that and to my surprise everything worked.

This begs the question. Why do we need chocolatey? Couldn't a simple
script be added and run after the folder is copied? I'm not an expert on
windows installation and this idea may be bogus.

Why do we need chocolatey?

Yeah, long term, Atom will have a Setup.exe that will install the app, shortcuts, start menu items, etc.

Just waiting on the Squirrel Windows support to be finalized.
