Feature
When performing an action on a
has_many
field, the default action is to refresh then entire page. It would be great it we could configure it to refresh only the child field and not the entire page. It would be critical to preserve pagination and filtering.This is valuable for bulk actions and triage type workflow. A user might be working on page 5 of a list and using an action to set a value for some records. Right now, every time this happens, the user is brought back to the first page and need to set pagination and filtering again.
Using the
close_modal
response is better, but doesn't reflect changes to the records.Current workarounds
None I'm aware of.
