Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'timecopyright_view_tool', git: 'https://github.com/barakadanny/timecopyright_view_tool'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
TimecopyrightViewTool::Renderer.copyright 'yourname', 'All right reserved'
For example
inside your app/controllers/application_controller.rb
class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base
before_action :set_copyright
def set_copyright
@copyright = TimecopyrightViewTool::Renderer.copyright 'MyName', 'All right reserved'
end
end
Note: Edit the MyName
and All right reserved
to anything of your choice.
Then inside your layout
eg. app/views/layouts/application.html.erb

<p><%= @copyright %></p>
</footer>
