Releases: barry-ha/Griduino
v1.13
Version 1.13 is an Alpha release. This is a snapshot of current development as we are now freezing the RPi 2040 development. Now that Adafruit has started shipping the Feather M4 Express again, we shelved the rp2040 PCB project.
New: Added a bar graph history of satellite reception for the last 8 minutes.
Fixed: Task scheduling is more reliable, although a lockup condition is still possible after several days of continuous operation.
v1.12-beta
Version 1.12 is a Beta release containing significant changes. Please report any problems, thank you.
New:
- If GPS satellite signal is lost, make an audible announcement every 5 minutes. This is often enough to tell the driver without distracting them too much.
- Re-wrote entire breadcrumb trail and 'dump kml' function.
- Internal history now keeps track of more information: speed, direction, altitude, and number of satellites. All these are available in 'dump kml' and can be displayed in Google Earth and other KML-compatible programs.
- Breadcrumb trail now records are "power up" and "first valid time from GPS receiver". This will help diagnose situations where GPS reception is spotty.
- Automatically records GPS position every 10 minutes to keep track of being parked in one spot for awhile.
- Animated logo on opening screen.
Fixed:
- The main display screen no longer bogs down when the breadcrumb trail has more than 1,500 items. This would also cause slow GPS sync and loss of GPS signal because it failed to poll the GPS chip often enough.
This is a Beta test version 1.12 and significant changes have been made. Please report problems to Barry (griduino@gmail.com). We suggest you bring 'griduino_v106.uf2' on critical missions, the previous reliable version, in case you want to revert back from this beta version.
v1.10
