I believe the Implement Fix for https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-rpm-macros/pull-request/127 is not needed at all (in fact, it's not a fix for that PR, it does the same thing). It eventually got reverted anyway by the next commits. |

This feature is useful when creating packages for Centos Stream and RHEL which contain multiple Python stacks and make it possible to build packages for them.
