Next.js Page

Rending Strategies

  • state-site generation (SSG)

with getStaticProps() and a "revalidate: 600" property to regenerate the static files every 10 minutes

local JSON file as in create-react-app and Vite site

  • client-side rendering (CSR)

with useState/useEffect as in create-react-app and Vite site

  • server-side rendering (SSR)

with getServerSideProps() which fetches data on the server

Howto build next.js pages

  • npx create-next-app

    enter a name for page

  • npm run dev or yarn dev for starting the page.

  • if you not install : yarn npm i --g yarn

Information about Next.js

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
