Right now our --tests takes a path to a folder with test files. We would also like an alternative, where the test files can be given directly as a list.
This is useful for our test CI setup

Resolve #78

This code doesn't change anything when it comes to the Travis tests, which doesn't pass right now because of some packages not building anymore. Which is the reason it doesn't pass all the tests. 
This code adds functionality used by CI repo, which I have tested locally works.
