v1.1.0

This release includes post-v1.0.0 updates to korusDecode's Gaussian ancestry scoring,
model diagnostics, and supporting KORUS functionality

Gaussian scoring and model diagnostics

  • Added the Gaussian log-determinant term to likelihood scoring
  • Added weighted-model diagnostics, including effective sample size (Neff)
  • Added reporting of mean covariance variance and log determinant
  • Retained covariance numerical-stability and positive-definiteness checks

Notes

This v1.1.0 release contains subsequent development and methodological updates whereas the v1.0.0 release corresponds to the software version used for the analyses presented in the KORUS manuscript

KORUS v1.0.0 - Initial (manuscript) Release

Choose a tag to compare

@warrenlr warrenlr released this 21 Sep 14:16

This is the first official release of KORUS, accompanying our manuscript:

KORUS: probabilistic ancestry inference beyond variant calls

Included in this release:

  • KORUS software for genome-wide and local genetic ancestry inference
  • Reference matrices and associated files required to reproduce the analyses described in the manuscript
  • Scripts and snake-make workflows used for ancestry inference and downstream analysis
  • Configuration and environment information required to reproduce the computational analyses
  • Documentation describing KORUS inputs, outputs, parameters, and usage
  • Version 1.0.0 (v1.0.0) represents the initial stable release of KORUS associated with the manuscript

This release corresponds to the version of the software and analysis workflow used for the results presented in the manuscript

For reproducibility, please report the KORUS version used in your analysis (e.g., KORUS v1.0.0).

Notes

This release is intended to provide the software and associated materials underlying the analyses presented in the manuscript. Subsequent releases may include bug fixes, performance improvements, documentation updates, and additional functionality.
