Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

All the features around labelling and moderation are framed first in the negative - even the choice to put labellers in moderation control, and to give very limited 'positive' options. This leads to user control over their experience being driven largely by what they don't want to see.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • A highlight function for 'mute' words that highlights that word when used in a post. Even if it's just giving it a slightly higher font weight, a 'glow', etc. Users might be able to select a highlight colour per word if we're fancy.
  • Positive/negative badging (and bringing badging to lists User lists as labels #3135). So that a user can choose if a label is 'good' (maybe indicated by a different icon and/or colour on a profile) or 'bad' (current behaviour).
  • A highlight function for specific users. Based on label or list membership - these users should be displayed more prominently (posts in a different background, that kind of thing).
