Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  • Currently to reorder our pinned feeds, we have to use the arrows buttons, and new feeds are placed on the bottom. So if one has a lot of pinned feeds and wants to bring a new one to the top, or arrange a similar one to be near another one, they have to press the button multiple times, or manually transfer each to their "Saved feeds" to then reinsert in the correct order.

  • Edit: There's also the aggravation of the list on desktop being updated at every change, rather than only when the user is done, on slower systems with many feeds it adds lag / mini-freezes to an already inconvenient process.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Allowing one to reorder pinned feeds through drag actions when on the Edit screen would let them to move more than one position at a time, making it easier and faster for people to reorganize their pinned feeds. It would also conserve the wrists of those who already suffer from RSI.

  • Also maybe offer the option to only update the sidebar after the user is done with their changes?

This has been really painful for me too at 30+ feeds, especially since the whole (web/mobile) app seems to freeze for a second or two after each shift 😩

It was a bit easier while the app was under load, as seemingly the slower response time meant I could do a few shifts in a row between the freezes.
