New font lower-case g and j and y descenders overflow search boxes

Steps to Reproduce

1. In the any search bar on web try a search term with a lower-case g in it or a lower case j (eg bangers or jello)
2. Smack your forehead

OK after a little messing around it's not just the new font, it's the system font as well.

I can confirm this to be the case.
