Describe the Feature

ideally whenever someone sends us a link to a bluesky post- all links have a click to load button to prevent abuse
short term solution; remove image previews or add blurr to all images

long term solution: Ideally, a images get a pass through with ozone to moderate images in dms for mutuals, and then for non-mutuals we get a toggle that lets you blur them by default / on or off.

Describe Alternatives

edit: dec 1st- remove previews of links all together short term which is a faster process so people just see the url of content and decide if they want to click it or not.

Additional Context

current trend due to influx of users and bad actors are sending pics of awful things to people who have dms open - currently seeing a wave of trans people on my timeline reporting similar harassment vetor

From a trust & safety standpoint, I definitely hope this vector for abuse gets closed.

You can send images in DM's?

People will send a link to a post which contains a photo and the dm shows the image
