Added/Fixed in this release:

  • Added Server::ftps_required method to allow enforcement of FTPS on the control and/or data channel.
  • Fixed issue where download of a non-existing file in the GCS back-end dumped the error message to a file.
  • Fixed issue where libunftp crashed because some GCS back-end commands were not implemented
  • Added StorageBackend::get_into to allow for easier implementations of RETR especially when it comes to implementing things like REST (#270)
  • Fixed documentation to also include documentation about optional features like bundled authenticators and storage back-ends.

Breaking changes:

  • Server::listen now returns an error instead of panicking.
  • Renamed Server::new_with_fs_root to Server::with_fs
  • Renamed Server::new_with_fs_and_auth to Server::with_fs_and_auth
  • Renamed Server::new_with_authenticator to Server::with_authenticator
  • The Authenticator trait's authenticate method now returns an AuthenticationError
  • Removed the failure crate from the public API.
