POI update Africa and Europe

Task Description

This task outlines work to improve the POI in OSM. We plan to focus on improvements to local POI's such as malls, hospitals, airports, etc. We will message the local community and get feedback and suggestions for this project.

Improvements that will be addressed include the following:

• Update/Adding name tag
• Update/Adding address
• Update/Adding location coordinates

Area of Focus is: Africa( Ghana, Tanzania, Tunisië, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda), Europe (United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Malta, Hungary, Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Romania, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia), Asia (Thailand, Sri Lanka), Latin America (Paraguay, Ecuador, Mexico), Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Georgia)

Mapping Guidelines

The team will follow OSM and local policy, along with any other guidelines as appropriate.
The team will add information only found in POI's website, Karta view and Mapillary.

Our team uses the hashtag #bolt for our edits.

Tools

The team will use JOSM and ID Editor for completing the task. Also "duckduckgo" for research of POIs officials website
