Description
Describe the feature you'd like
Add "New Page" and "New Chapter" options when editing a page.
I find it rather cumbersome that I have to back out of a page to the book menu to add a new page or chapter. Would like to just save and continue on new page/chapter when completing notes or drafts on current page.
Describe the benefits this would bring to existing BookStack users
Currently, must back out of current page editor, or after hitting save and brought to a preview page, there is no option to add new page from that view. The same actions to add new page or add chapter from the book menu should be brought one level down to pages.
This wouldn't break the current experience, it would just add the action under the actions in the page preview side panel.
Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?
Yes, use the breadcrums to back out to book and add new page or chapter from there.
Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?
- I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request
How long have you been using BookStack?
3 months to 1 year
Additional context
In the page editor, having "save and continue on new page" option could be cool as a dropdown when hitting the save button.
In the page preview mode, after saving the page, this option could exist in the Actions menu, as it does in the book or chapter side panel.
Alternatively, it could also exist in the page navigators at the bottom to "add new blank page" when at the end of a book.
