Via option or by omitting the destination folder?

by option (allowing omission of destination folder could be interpreted to mean dump in pwd, if you don't read teh instructions)
But also, by calling a function from within a python script, and get a json.

not implemented. still needs to be decided how it should be implemented.
probably by having a option flag like --list-only
