Title ID: PPSA08546 (Flashback)
Status: boots, renders and presents frames on Linux. One AGC stop is being fixed; the run after it has not been followed to gameplay yet.
Implemented state: relinker conversion of
PPSA08546-app0(including the title's ownsce_module/libSceNpCppWebApi.prxandlibc.prx) and the currentlibSceAgcDriver/libSceVideoOutlibs. With a warm pipeline journal the menu/cubemap passes present at about 50–55 FPS; with a cold cache the same run spends minutes compiling and streaming.Stop (before the fix):
[videoout] presentation failed: AGC graphics: depth view mip 1 on a surface without mips, rethrown fromVideoOutDriver::presentLoopafter the AGC driver reports a draw failure, at about 115 s. The failing draw hasDB_Z_INFO 0xa0000181(MAXMIP0, 128x128 D16 Z_X with HTILE) andDB_DEPTH_VIEWmips 1 to 6 over six slices. The colour target hasMAXMIP7. The depth allocation is six 64 KiB slices: the next allocation starts 0x61000 bytes later, which cannot hold a mip tail, and every view uses the same base and extent. The console therefore cannot be selecting another depth level; the fix selects the first level for a view mip on a single-level surface.PR: #11098 (
fix/agc-single-level-depth-view).Remaining work: follow the run past the cubemap pass to gameplay, then list the next stops. The console behaviour of the ignored view mip is inferred from this title, not measured.
