DFS TruCreds Hackathon - Project Submission Template

Purpose

This repository is a GitHub Repo Template for creating a project workspace respository for use by a hackathon team. This repository serves as a templatized tutorial for creating an end-to-end demonstration for digital trust use cases associated with the interactions of stakeholders (Issuer, Holder, Verifier) in the Verifiable Credentials Trust Triangle.

Motivation

The Innovation Accelerator Team within Discover Financial Services developed this repository as an education tool for developers and a bootstrap mechanism for participants in Discover's TruCreds Hackathon (circa: 3Q 2022).

Usage

1. Pre-Hackathon Configuration

Before the hackathon begins, follow these configuration instructions to prepare a new repository instance generated from this GitHub template.

2. Project Development

Once the hackathon begins, refer to the Hackers's Guide to develop your project.

3. Project Submission

Follow these submission instructions prior to finalizing the team's project submission.

Acknowledgments

This repository was developed by Discover Financial Services and publicly contributed as an example for how Avast (formally Evernym) products can be leveraged for digital trust solutions. Specifically, this repository leverages:

  • Verity SDK: Evernym's decentralized protocol platform for issuing and verifying digital credentials.
  • Mobile SDK:Mobile SSI wallet functionality for credential holders.
