UTM cut-off when it lands on the jobpost vacancy page (OSCP) #505
Comments
Hi All, The JS doesn't handle the UTM passed in, only code set in the config file. If this is a must-have, then you may need to look for a solution from a Bullhorn Partner https://www.bullhorn.com/marketplace/?search=wordpress#archive-cards I can confirm that Matador Jobs does support passing the UTM etc. Paul |
Hello Paul,
Thank you. Is there a way to fix this in the OSCP API by a webdeveloper?
without a Bullhorn Partner plugin because of the extra monthly costs? We
want only to fix the url utm cutoff. If so, do you have any advice how to
instruct this fix to a webdeveloper and where to focus in the code?
Via Bullhorn support ticket i get this answer:
I took a look at your previous ticket regarding UTM codes, Bullhorn does
not currently have any functionality to use UTM codes. You could have a
look at our marketplace partner list and see if anyone would be able to
assist with your goal: https://www.bullhorn.com/marketplace/partner-listing/
.
If you cannot find anything on there, you might be able to achieve this via
API, for that you would need a web developer on your end to set this up and
make it work. They might also reach out to via our developer forum to get
assistance:

Hi Jarus I don't think it can be fixed in OSCP :-( |
INSERT SHORT DESCRIPTION EXPLAINING THE HIGH-LEVEL REASON FOR THE NEW ISSUE HERE.
Current behavior
Hello team Bullhorn,
We have a problem with tracking our visitors coming from jobboards that has utm codes and source utm codes. See message translated in English from our multiposter Vonq tool:
We also asked our web developers if this is caused by our website but this is not the case. See second message from our webdevelopers. That means we cannot track the applications from which job boards they are coming from because we are going to sponsor the paid ads.
Hi,
On our side, we took a look at the tracking in combination with the Job Post environment. As it turned out yesterday, the UTM code is cut off when someone lands. However, this happens on your domain (vacatures.recolo.nl). So we can't see what exactly is causing this.
Steps to replicate behavior
A recent vacancy:
A random vacancy on a random job board
https://www.adzuna.nl/details/3807877004
This is sent along from VONQ and Adzuna:
https://vacatures.recolo.nl/?utm_source=adzuna&utm_medium=Aggregator&utm_campaign=VONQ&igbTracker=669240057#/jobs/511
Eventually the UTM code falls off on your website, so that less/nothing is measured:
