Having problems with hobocopy?

Here are a few things to try:

Ask your question at the project mailing list hobocopy@googlegroups.com. You can also search the mailing list archives at http://groups.google.com/group/hobocopy.

When you ask your question on the mailing list, including the following information is helpful:

  • What version of Hobocopy are you running?
  • What operating system are you on?
  • What is the output when you run hobocopy with /verbosity=4?
  • What do you get when you run vssadmin list providers?
  • What do you get when you run vssadmin list shadows?
  • What do you get when you run vssadmin list shadowstorage?
  • What do you get when you run vssadmin list volumes?
  • What do you get when you run vssadmin list writers?
