General Information
===================

This is version 0.5.1 of Nhopkg. Nhopkg is an universal package manager. It can be used in any GNU/linux distribution and uses .nho  packages (binary) and .src.nho  packages (source).

With  Nhopkg  you  can install, build and remove packages. Checks their dependencies and automatically download and install them.

This new version have some features:

	* Fiexd some bugs.
	* Dependencies manager.
	* Repository support.
	* Auto-package option to create automaticaly a source package.
	* New nhoid file (now is not needed nho.source or nho.binary).
	* Compression of log files (bzip2).
	* Compression of files with package files (bzip2).
	* Added package mime-types support.

Nhopkg is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3, see the file 'COPYING' for more information.

Installation
============

Nhopkg requires bash, du, ln, printf, date, uname, md5sum, wget, basename, cat, bzcat, grep, bzgrep, head, tail, find, locate, updatedb, tar and bzip2.

Simple install procedure:

	$ tar jxvf nhopkg-0.5.1.tar.bz2	# unpack the tarball.
	$ cd nhopkg-0.5.1		# change to the toplevel directory.
	$ ./configure			# run the configure script.
	$ make				# build nhopkg.
	[ As root ]
	# make install			# install nhopkg.

After installed, you need to run `nhopkg --update-db` to initialize data base.

How to report bugs
==================

Bugs should be reported to the Nhopkg Sourceforge project web page (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=223020). You will need to create an account.

In the bug report please include:

* Information about your system.

	- What operating system and version.
	- What version of needed dependencies by Nhopkg are installed.
	- Anything else you think is relevant.

* How to reproduce the bug. 

* If the bug was a crash, the exact text that was printed out when the crash occurred.
