Hi @halfmu,
Thanks for this! Sorry for the late response, been without internet access for a while.
I've recently run into the case for outputting to Google CloudDNS instead of Route53, so I'm leaning towards extending this program to have a bit more structured support for multiple output modes.
This means I'll need to do some thinking before merging this though, and it will probably need some changes. Hope that doesn't block you somehow?
