About The Project

A movie application built with Typescript, NextJs, and Tailwind. It also utilizies The Movie DB Api

Users can:

• View current trending movies in the cinemas
• Search for any moive
• View details of Moives and Actors

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

• node.js

• yarn

  npm i -g corepack

Installation

1. Get a free API Key at https://www.themoviedb.org/documentation/api
2. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/ccurves/cmdb.git

3. Install NPM packages

   yarn install

4. Enter your API in .env.local

   API_KEY = "ENTER YOUR API";

5. Run

   yarn start
