To run the TradeApollo application locally, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/tradeapollo.git
- Install the dependencies:
cd tradeapollo
npm install
- Set up the required environment variables:
- Create a
.env.local
file in the root directory of the project - Add the following variables:
NEXT_PUBLIC_MAPBOX_TOKEN=your_mapbox_token
- Start the development server:
npm run dev
- Open your browser and navigate to
http://localhost:3000
to see the application.
The TradeApollo application relies on the following API endpoints:
- Residential Electricity Prices: You need to run the backend API program.
- Carbon Intensity Data:
https://api.electricitymap.org/v3/carbon-intensity/latest
- Power Breakdown Data:
https://api.electricitymap.org/v3/power-breakdown/latest
- Historical Pricing Data: You need to run the backend API program.
Make sure you have the necessary API tokens and permissions to access these endpoints.
