Eventually the choria module will make this once we're totally done with mcollective, realistically this is going to have to wait until we're near or at puppet 6 before that can ship, choria-io/puppet-choria#59 handles that.

For now we can just make a shim config in this module that:

  • disables audit
  • logs to /var/log/choria-mcorpc.log
  • clears collectives

Doing it here avoids a bunch of complexities like where to find policies etc

This creates a choria-shim.cfg in the config dir and sets a couple
of things specifically, the main one being we must disable auditing
from the mcollective framework and also log to the right place
