kcc-c2e error “KindleGen is missing” #625
Comments
KCC will tell you where kindlegen.exe is. If you copy the exe to the same folder as c2e does it work? |
Good Day I fix it with what you said, but I didn’t copy the executables, I had the same problem with 7z, what I did is to configure the user environment path (not the system environment path), to point to those executables, after that kcc worked as expected, I even configured the path to point to kcc executable and worked like a charm. As a suggestion, maybe in the wiki you should create a article to explain how to prepare, configure and / or execute de CMD in the different flavors of OS of the KCC C2E, to help other how to configurate them. Thanks for your help and great software, simplified my life as manga consumer, if you want more details, said so. Will close the threat with this comment. |
Please leave this issue open until a fix is merged. Ideally c2e would autodetect 7z and Kindlegen like the GUI version. |
per request of @axu2 i reopen the issued |
Good day
I am using the kcc-c2e command in line and I am having the following error of “KindleGen is missing”
But I have Kindle Previewer 3 installed
I have kcc and it is working as expected, no problem in that, but I can’t make use of the command line because of this error.
