Membrane keyboad not debounced

I have this setup and the hardware all seems to work but I cannot enter single digit times - Whenever i touch a key I get 11.1 or 33.3 or 66.6 etc. I read some bits about debouncing keys to allow a 250ms delay but I am not skliled enough to implement this.
I am a novice to this but see in your code there is a "TODO: add event listener for keypad" Is this what is required or is there another later .ino which fixes this. Many thanks. Alan
