For public PCs, the printer could be eliminated!

It would be OPTIMAL, if in the configuration of the PDF sending through SMTP, CalwPDF asks for the destination email if not preset.

i'm not sure if we are on the same track but i have program X who can "print" pages with postscript and a printer (not imporant for you but this program is very bad at communicating with printers so i had the idea instead of printing pages, i send the pages as a pdf to my customers). i can also "save" pages with clawpdf and save them somewhere on the computer (configured autosave). i want this pdf-file as fast as possible sent over SMTP to my customers. right know i "print" the pdf with clawpdf, it gets opened by adobe acrobat reader dc and there is a sent mail function. well actually its not that bad, i can look at it on adobe reader first and then sent it. but i want it direcly opened in thunderbird or any mail program and send it to my customers how?

Make sure thunderbird is setup as default mail app, print your document to claws and hit the button "send as email" when asked. Thats no issue ;)

it doesn't work, clawpdf crashed and can't be opened again. i have to delete some parts in regedit

i couldn't open clawpdf settings after so many changes in the settings menu. i have deleted everything in regedit.exe => HKEY_CURRENT_USER => SOFTWARE => clawSoft and it's working again with the settings lost.

i've installed clawpdf 0.9.1 over 0.8 (i guess it was 0.8). version 0.8 wasn't removed in control settings, i had to remove it manually. 0.9.1 didn't import the settings from 0.8 so i had to start all over again. so far it works for me but one thing is strange. when i want to open the pdf-file automatically with thunderbird, i have to open the main window of clawpdf too. otherwise it just opens thunderbird. there is also an auto-save of the pdf-file somewhere on my pc. auto-save works good. i had to write a batch-file with one line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\clawpdf\clawPDF.exe" it opens clawpdf.exe in the beginning and then thunderbird just the way i like: with a perfectly prepared mail-sent-window. i offer nearly everyone to watch the problems on my computer via zoom/teams/skype and desktop-sharing or teamviewer/anydesk. when i sent the mail, i have to close the main window of thunderbird, but also clawpdf.exe main window. there is also this error:

but it only occurs when i use clawpdf.exe => profile settings => actions (?) => open e-mail-client => test e-mail client. there i don't need the batch-file.

ich will dir krams per mail schicken, das habe ich auch der firma solutio geschickt, die mein praxis programm charly entwickeln. von dankbarkeit keine spur aber vielleicht hilft dir die anleitung. ich brauche deine mail-adresse

mit undankbarkeit meinte ich solutio. du hast mit der version 0.9.1 alles hervorragend gemacht. bei 0.9.3 geht leider keine e-mail mehr
