Save and replay metric sessions

[clushie]

etop currently retains samples only while it is running. Closing the app loses that session's history.

This proposal is for explicitly saving an exporter-metric session and reopening it for offline investigation, with timestamps, labels and gaps preserved. Retention limits and a way to omit sensitive labels would need to be part of the design.

Upvote this discussion to vote for this feature. Would you primarily reopen your own session, compare two recordings, or share a recording with a teammate? What duration would be useful?

This is a feature proposal, not an implementation or a release commitment.
