With a certain kernel configuration, starting a sandboxed evaluation causes a kernel panic. This is probably a kernel issue...
Here are the two .configs (one that causes the kernel panic and one that doesn't).

Are you able to capture the kernel panic (either a photo or otherwise?)

I can't seem to reproduce that kernel panic anymore, I'm not sure why (the only different configuration i can think of is using SNA instead of UXA, but I really doubt it to be related to the sandbox...).
This probably means that it was just a kernel problem.

Definitely a kernel bug. I wouldn't mind trying to track it down regardless though. I'll leave this issue open a little longer in case you encounter it again - could you please capture the stack trace if you do see it.

Can't really say I hope it'll happen again, but if it does I'll take a photo.
