This PR prepares this repository for the migration to landscape2. The documentation has been updated for the new landscape and the content and files that are no longer needed have been removed. This is a work in progress, please feel free to submit any changes as needed.
IMPORTANT: this PR should NOT be merged until we've completed the migration to the new landscape.
