This is an issue created to help onboard your project into the CNCF after the TOC has voted to accept your project.

From the project side, please ensure that you:

Things that CNCF will need from the project:

• Owners file: Please add a link to your owners file to this issue, this is used to be able to create your maintainers mailing list.
• Create maintainer list + added to aggregated https://maintainers.cncf.io list
• Domain: transfer domain to CNCF/LF (ITx)
• Trademarks: transfer any trademark and logo mark assets over to the LF - https://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/trademark-usage/ has guidelines
• GitHub: ensure 'thelinuxfoundation' and 'caniszczyk' are added as initial org owners, this helps us make sure we have continuity of GH ownership
• GitHub: ensure DCO or CLA are enabled for all GitHub repositories of the project
• Artwork: Ensure logos present on https://github.com/cncf/artwork
• Website: ensure LF footer is there and website guidelines followed
• Website: Analytics transferred

Things that the CNCF will do or help the project to do:

• Devstats: add to devstats https://devstats.cncf.io/
• Marketing: update relevant intro + slide decks
• Trail Map: update CNCF trail map if relevant (incubating projects and above)
• Update https://landscape.cncf.io
• Events: update CFP + Registration + CFP Area forms
• ServiceDesk: confirm maintainers have read https://www.cncf.io/services-for-projects/
• CNCF Welcome Email Sent to confirm maintainer list access
• Schedule monthly project sync with CNCF staff

  Step 1: Agreements live here. https://github.com/cncf/foundation/tree/master/agreements Step 2: Choose which one applies to your project. Step 3: return the signed copy to us!

  You will want a new org!

@amye We just had a discussion with Absa legal team on the trademark transfer process. There were no special trademarks created for k8gb project on our side at all. Is it safe to assume that there is no actual need to sign anything in this case and we can just tick this point and proceed further?

We do not have a default recommendation by default, but a project can set something up like a statusboard etc

Ah, this is deprecated! Instead, I send a message to the TOC mailing list letting everyone know which projects have been included in the sandbox when the TOC meets to review applications.
Thanks for the catch, I'll update that.
