The YSLib Project carries some copyrighted materials from several external projects(with or without modification), and distributes them according to following terms.
These referenced documents may be used as license of each part of these external dependencies.

In the directory "3rdparty", if not otherwise specified in LICENSE DOCUMENTS or README DOCUMENTS in the corresponding library directories, all derived work are licensed as the same as the original materials.

4.1 License for FreeType

At least one of the following licenses shall be used for independert distribution:

The FreeType Project LICENSE - See FTL.txt;
GNU General Public License Version 2 - See gpl-2.0.txt.

FreeType License is adopted here for statically linked binaries or whole project distribution because of license compatibility.

4.2 License for FreeImage

At least one of the following licenses shall be used for independert distribution:
FreeImage Public License - Version 1.0 - See license-fi.txt;
GNU General Public License Version 2 - See gpl-2.0.txt.

Appendix A. Important Note of Licensing

There are several licenses can be incompatible to others. Some of them may not allow relicensing.
