The lower bound bump for diagrams-lib was quite deliberate, we would prefer to just wait for the upper bounds to catch up. I have been slowly working my way through upper bound updates for diagrams packages, I should get to diagrams-haddock tomorrow.

It seems that the following are all that remain

  • Release a new version of linear to hackage that works with doctest-0.10.* (already on github)
  • Release a new version of sdl2 to hackage that works with linear-1.20.* (already on github)
  • Upgrade a few other packages to work with lens-4.13.* (lens 4.13 #831)

Things are starting to pile up on this, so I intend to remove sdl2 from the Nov 1 nightly and see if the rest works out.

Can I personally be notified about sdl2? I've released a new version now, but I don't get @haskell-game notifications.

What is missing to get linear-1.20 into stackage?

@ocharles you sure can! a29841b

Thanks for that release. @phaazon it looks like nothing is missing now. I'll lift the constraints related to this issue; anticipate linear-1.20 in the next nightly build.
