Running on latest master with cgroupsv2 and crun on Fedora 30:

[libpod (generate-pod)]$ ./bin/podman pod create --name foo
Error: unable to create pod: unable to create pod cgroup for pod f22b62f315b2d0951d9573b433ac361ca1ae7222585ada4aab7f7143a1c5c6aa: error creating cgroup user.slice/user-libpod_pod_f22b62f315b2d0951d9573b433ac361ca1ae7222585ada4aab7f7143a1c5c6aa.slice: read unix @->/run/systemd/private: read: connection reset by peer

I've fixed a bunch of issues with cgroups2 today as part of #3796.

From a quick test, it seems the command works now. Could you try with last crun version from master?
