book-ocr

Bash-script that takes scanned book pages in TIF(F)/PDF format and produces a cleaned-up, croped and ocr'd PDF.

How to call it

  • The scans should be in PDF or TIF[F] format
  • No files of the above formats other than the scans should be contained in respective directory.
  • Make book-ocr.sh executable: chmod u+x book-ocr.sh
  • Call ./book-ocr.sh, wait and enjoy your nice-looking ocr'd book. :)
