At the start of his turn, the player gains one max mana and all available mana is replenished to that maximum value.

Adding cards that make mana was considered. This would be more like Magic:The Gathering rather than Hearthstone or The ElderScrolls: Legends.

However, the simple idea that each turn allows for a larger play removes the mana screw/flood of MtG while also reducing the time to play a game. The ideal time for me (the designer) is ~5-10 minutes per game.

That said, I have not ruled out the idea of a building that somehow changes the mana pool. This is a WIP.

My main design goal is to make deck building the final goal of players. Specifically, at first, they will use pre-defined decks. Then they will learn tactics and strategy on the board. The end-goal is for people to make and refine their own decks given their (library)[card-library].

The player draws one card from his deck. If his Deck is empty, his King takes 1 damage. The amount of damage thus taken doubles until the player can draw a card at the start of his turn, or he loses the game.

All creatures owned by the player are ready to attack or move at the start of each turn.
