The scheduler performs only the function of scanning files, well, not deleting files, you still need to click manually to delete files, why in sd maid 1 the scheduler scanned and when the user unlocked the phone, it automatically deleted the cache and other unnecessary data

Why do you leave all the place holder texts in your issue tickets? 😢
The scheduler performs only the function of scanning files, well, not deleting files, you still need to click manually to delete files
As mentioned in your other ticket, the accessibility service can't click anything if the screen is not available.
why in sd maid 1 the scheduler scanned and when the user unlocked the phone, it automatically deleted the cache and other unnecessary data
This was not a feature, just undefined behavior. SD Maid would just keep trying, so if you have like 300 apps, SD Maid 1 gave up after 20-30 seconds per app, in the background SD Maid 1 could have been keeping the device needlessly alive for minutes to hours, just wasting battery.
If you unlock the phone during that time, it would look like SD Maid doing it automatically, but it's just then able to clear what ever else has not been skipped already
SD Maid 2 does this smarter and detects if the screen is available and if not, just aborts, not wasting any energy.
If you are at your phone and can unlock it, you can also just open SD Maid and click clear instead of relying on this buggy behavior.
I just translate texts, I use a translator from English to Ukrainian, so it’s easier, I asked my question about the wonderful program sd maid 2, thank you
