Windows systray app showing your real Claude Code usage — no external services, no telemetry, no guessed token limits.
- Runs
claude -p "/usage"(the same slash command you'd type interactively) and parses the real session/weekly percentages Claude Code reports straight from Anthropic's backend — the actual account quota, not a locally estimated approximation. - Shows a color-coded ring gauge in the tray for the current 5-hour session: green (<60%), amber (60-85%), red (>85%).
- Tooltip and menu also show the current 7-day usage percentage, plus both windows' reset times.
- Fires a toast notification at 50/75/90/100% of session usage, resetting once Claude Code reports a new session window.
- Refreshes every 60 seconds, or on demand via "Refresh now" in the tray menu.
Requires the claude CLI to be installed and authenticated on the machine
running this app (it shells out to it — there is no other local source for
the real quota numbers).
go build -ldflags "-H=windowsgui" -o claude-monitor.exe .The -H=windowsgui flag suppresses the console window when launching the
exe directly.
Create a shortcut to claude-monitor.exe in shell:startup.
