I've had a lot of fun setting up a couple of emulators on the Wii to run with the 8Bitdo M30. Gettting my head around merging the analog shoulder buttons and their digital 'click' was 'fun'.
The live Advanced Config screen has also been a lifesaver, being able click and save and see the change take effect on the Street Fighter 2 diagnostics was really helpful. I've ended up with the 6 M30 facebuttons corresponding perfectly the sf2 range of kicks and punches, and the Start and Coin buttons merged nicely on the M30 Start Button.
The GC Z button being mapped twice to the M30 was/is annoying but I have worked around it for Retroarch.
I am unable to get the 6 buttons to play ball on GenesisGX, but most of the games are only 3 Button anyway.
When I test with 240p Suite MD I get multiple presses in 6 button mode that are single presses on Retroarch.
Now for the main point, when I press the button that corresponds to A on the GC pad (B on the M30, and b on the Wiimote and Classic Controller) I also get a secret button activation for the Mode button in 240p Test suite.
I can't work out where the extra activation is coming from - as it isn't the DOUBLE Z or the MERGED Triggers - I am assuming the dongle as it occurs when activating the button on the M30 and Wiimote! It's as if its merged with some secret trigger that the dongle can 'see'
