I'm not a huge fan of this. I don't see discourse as replacing Stack Overflow and I think it's good to continue pointing folks there.

I agree with replacing GitHub Discussions with Discourse though.

Ah, meant to comment further, but apparently I never submitted.

Briefly: I agree with you @jacobtomlinson, Stack Overflow is a perfectly valid place to ask for help, whatever my personal vague antipathy towards it might be.
